WARNING - VERY MISLEADING POST

If your shopping cart is used to accept credit cards online where the customer enters the credit card details into the cart in some way then it can NOT possibly be PCI DSS compliant unless the cart owner has gone through the entire PCI DSS Compliance Certification process themselves, which can be a very costly and time consuming task.

What you are claiming here is wrong and could be putting users of your cart in grave danger of being faced with heavy penalties and fines.

If people want to accept credit cards for online real time processing they would need to use the gateway's remotely hosted PCI DSS compliant payment page such as provided by secure pay, eway and pay pal etc. Otherwise the cart owner would have to go through the entire PCI DSS compliance certification process themselves.

If people want to accept credit cards for offline processing they would need to use a manual payment gateway's hosted PCI DSS compliant payment page such as provided by a manual payment gateway such as e-path. But I can't see where your cart even supports e-path.

Your post is claiming something that is blatantly untrue which could be placing users of your cart at serious risk.
