Any suggestion on starting a new internet business.

Hi everyone, I am planning to start an internet business and for that I would be soon getting my website running. The products at the star are aimed for the men’s market but would be going on a broad basis once the business takes off. I have never been or have anyone on this side of the line and so would like to get advice from you people on how to go about this.

I reckon the first thing is to decide on the right webhosting. With mostly all top quality hosting now you get a number of free shopping carts. These are usually high quality open source shopping carts where you don't have to pay a single cent to anyone - you own it.

osCommerce is a popular one. Even Google use it for their Google Shop, so its one of the best in my opinion.

And best of all you can expand your shopping cart as you wish and its all free because its included with your hosting.

The next step is to work out how you are going to accept credit card payments online, assuming you are wanting to do this.
